Desmos is a free online graphing calculator used by primarily by students and teachers in a learning environment. You are able to graph a variety of types of equations with it, including standard, piece-wise, polar and parametric formulas, and has support for Integrals, Derivatives, Inequalities, etc, which may all be graphed in 6 different colors. Using these tools, I enjoy to create graphs that portray an image or symbol, as seen below. I view Desmos like a sort of programming language written with math. Pictured below are a few of the graphs I have created, listed from left to right: Spinning Globe, Hershey's Kiss, Super Smash Bros Logo, Team 2152 S*M*A*S*H Logo, a Yin Yang symbol, and many of the symbols from an online game known as Sburb. Finally, I have my recreation of Van Gogh's Starry Night, which I worked on as a project which I presented at my high school's Maker Faire. It is still a work in progress, but I am proud of it.
